About Lars

Hi, my name is Lars and I created this course.

I have been working in Tech & IT for over 25 years. I went from network admin, to software developer, to software architect and finally to enterprise architecture.

I have been been working in startups, for corporations, in small businesses and the public sector. I have a lot of tech experience under my belt. And I still ❤️ nerding out about technology & IT.

What I want to achieve with this course #

I spent about 9 months pulling this course together. This course tries to give answers to questions I was asked over and over again for the past decades.

The most important goal for this course is explaining concepts of IT and tech. Once you understand the basic concepts many other things will fall into place. You will be able to understand how it is all connected.

Jargon may change and new technologies will appear. But the overarching concepts have been true for the past decades and will also be true for the coming decades.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions #

If you want one advice from someone who spent most of his lifetime solving problems in and around the internet:

Don’t be afraid to ask question!

Stay curious and ask for things you don’t understand. IT staff and tech gurus have also started their careers by asking questions and collecting knowledge. Just do the same and build up your knowledge because it will serve you well in a world full of technology!
